My favorite place to get candy is in Madison, New Jersey. The specific store is called Sugar Rush. They sell regular candy in bulk such as M&M’s and Jelly Beans, but they also have some cool products. A particular favorite is the candy that looks like food made by Raindrops enterprises. So far I’ve tried their candy sushi, candy hamburger, candy pizza, candy kabobs, and candy cake. It is pretty much eye candy. Although this has nothing to do with candy, another reason why I like Sugar Rush is because they sell many other products such as candy themed bags, slime/putty and fuzzy pajama pants! Walking into the store for the first time is magical (and to be honest, it never gets old). There is an overwhelming sweet scent that hits you as soon as you walk in the door, and bright colors everywhere. Everything is perfectly lined up, and it adds a pop of color and excitement to the somewhat boring streets of downtown Madison.
My second favorite place to get candy is a boutique called Sugarfina. There are many stores located throughout New Jersey (and New York), and probably in other states too. Although Sugarfina is a bit pricey, it is totally worth it. My favorite candy from there is Peach Bellini, and a mango candy that is no longer sold.
The last commonly known candy store that I love is Dylan’s candy bar. They have many candies that I love, and cute containers to pick out candy in bulk. The vibe that the store gives off is upbeat and extremely sweet. Similar to Sugar Rush, they also sell other products including pillows!
There are many other candy stores that I love, but they are less popular. For example I remember two candy stores in Nantucket and on Martha’s Vineyard that I absolutely loved.
Whenever I step inside a candy store, I feel like I’m in heaven.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where is your favorite place to shop for candy?
CANDY IS LITERALLY MY LIFE I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT
I also like to shop at Sugarfina for candy! It's really expensive but I love the candy so much it's addicting!
I found your website the other day and I love it! I love everything about candy (...not so much chocolate) too and cannot wait for more blogs/vlogs!
