I have been eating candy for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was little, I have always liked sweet things. I particularly like gummy and fruity candies better than chocolate, but we’ll go more into depth on that topic on a later day. During the day, I constantly have a piece of candy in my mouth. I like to keep Jolly Ranchers in my pencil pouch, but I occasionally have Hershey Kisses too to mix it up. Although I don’t remember when I first tried candy, I am almost positive that it was love at first sight. Seriously, if you ask any of my friends, they’ll say that I am addicted to candy. I cannot live without it. If I’m lucky, I’ll have a minimum of 6 pieces a day. Although that might not sound like a lot, trust me, it adds up. I try to limit myself to one Jolly Rancher per period (during school), but it rarely works. During Sports Period, I’ll stop by the vending machine and grab a pack of gummy worms, and after swim practice, I sometimes purchase a bag of AirHead Bites or a Twix Bar; it all depends on my mood. But that’s not where it ends; after dinner while working on my homework, I always make sure that there is something sweet next to me. I try to limit myself during my during the night, and it usually works. The only reason why is because I feel extremely guilty. All in all, you could say that I’m totally obsessed with candy. I have been since I was little, and I wouldn’t doubt that I will be for the rest of my life.
